Students at the nine UC campuses could soon see a rate increase according to a published report.
The University of California Board of Regents will meet next week in San Francisco and will discuss the possibility of raising students fees to help reduce expenses, according to the Orange County Register.
The board recently increased fees by an average of 9.3 percent in May. The UC also has been cutting classes, issuing furloughs, firing people and eliminating programs in an effort to slice more than $800 million in costs, the paper reported.
