Skateboarding star Tony Hawk is joining the anti-sugary drink kick by supporting a Kickstarter campaign for Fred Water's stainless steel flask.
Hawk says promoting a refillable bottle is good for both the environment and for health reasons. He appears in an online video promoting the flask.
Now 46, Hawk says he's cut out soda from his diet and is on more of a health kick than when he was younger.
The Fred flask isn't something he'd carry in his pocket in the half pipe, of course, in case he wiped out and landed on it.
Says Hawk: "I think of it more like something you'd use when you're skating for transportation and not really trying some big trick."
