Fans Turn Out for Tim Tebow at Qualcomm Stadium

Thousands gathered in Qualcomm Stadium Sunday to see NFL quarterback Tim Tebow.

Seven months ago at Qualcomm Stadium, NFL quarterback Tim Tebow led the Denver Broncos past the San Diego Chargers. On Sunday, Tebow returned with a different team and a different game plan.

Tebow entered the stadium to NFL music and it didn't take long for the QB to start throwing footballs to his fans.

Tebow partnered with Shadow Mountain community Church, sharing a Christian faith-based message to a Father’s Day audience.

"You men get in the game and finish strong," he told the crowd. "Finish strong for family, for wives and sons and daughters."

There were lots of dads and sons in attendance. Many fans wore his jerseys – both Bronco and NY Jets.

There were also many people sporting John 3:16 eye paint just like Tebow wears during games.

The NY Jets QB is widely known for being an outspoken Christian and has made multiple statements regarding his faith.

The Heisman trophy winner typically prays after making a successful pass, which is known as "Tebowing."

"The world looks at me and think I am a football player that's a Christian," he told the estimated 20,000 fans in the stands. "I am a Christian that plays football."

Tebow shared life lessons for about 40 minutes..

When it was time to go he shook hundreds of hands then, like any good quarterback, Tebow had to avoid the rush... the rush of Tebowmania.
