Two separate power outages in parts of San Diego county left over 2500 customers without power Thursday morning starting at about 8 a.m.

As of 8:30 a.m., Ocean Beach, Lindbergh Field, Old Town and Hillcrest experienced an outage as a result of a suspected problem in the overhead electrical system.

The outage left 1096 customers without power, according to SDG&E. By 10:30 a.m., the power was restored to all customers.

Airport officials say the outage has not affected their operations.

Rancho Penasquitos, Rancho Bernardo, San Pasqual, Del Dios, and the Lake Hodges area also experienced an outage as a result of a suspected problem in the underground electrical system.

The outage initially left over 4400 customers without power, but as of 8:30 a.m. about 1,600 customers were without power. At 11 a.m., the power was restored to all but a few customers.
