There's a Hot Weekend Ahead

While the rest of the nation is talking hurricanes, we're looking at unusually warm weather over the next few days.

For Friday, San Diegans should expect another very warm day. Things should be even hotter than previous days as we close out the work week and head into another beautiful San Diego weekend.

The county will feel pretty muggy and we might even see enough moisture build over the mountains that an isolated shower or thunderstorm isn't out of the question through Saturday.

As for temperatures, expect mid to upper 70s at the coast the next couple of afternoons but mid and upper 90s in the warmest valleys.  In the mountains we'll top out in the low to mid 90s but it will feel even hotter as the humidity rises along with the temperature and, out in the deserts - watch out, very dangerous heat will persist into Sunday with highs up around 115.
