A San Diego teenager is in big trouble after leading police on a high-speed chase with his father’s car.

Officers say they spotted the 16-year-old driving without lights on around 1 a.m. in Grant Hill.

The vehicle didn’t stop when police tried to pull the teen over.

At 28th and L Street, the teen crashed into a parked truck but kept driving officials said.

It wasn’t until the teenager reached home in the 3100-block of Imperial Avenue that he jumped out of the car and ran between some houses.

The car rolled down the street and crashed into a fence.

With the help of canine units and a police helicopter, officers found the driver hiding in some bushes.

He was taken into custody and faces charges of evading arrest and hit and run.
