Motorcyclist Struck, Injured in Point Loma Heights
Woman suffered life-threatening injuries

A woman in her 20s was injured after a vehicle struck her motorcycle, according to fire officials.
The incident happened shortly after 2:40 p.m. at the intersection of Catalina Boulevard and Coronado Avenue. The motorcyclist was struck by a female in her 40s driving a Mercedes.
She has been transported to UCSD Hospital in Hillcrest with life-threatening injuries to her head and is currently in critical condition.
Police said alcohol was not a factor in the accident and they are investigating.
