Teen Busted at Border With Drugs Taped to Legs: Feds

A teenager was caught trying to cross the border with packages of methamphetamine taped to his legs, according to Customs and Border Protection officials.

The 15-year-old San Diego teen was taken into custody just before 11 a.m. on Monday at the Otay Mesa Port of Entry. CBP officers noticed bulges along the teen's upper thighs and sent him for additional inspection.
   
Officers said they found almost 3 pounds of meth wrapped in cellophane.

The teen, who is being held at a juvenile detention facility, faces criminal prosecution.
