Taste of North Park: 53 Samples, 15 Sudsy Sips

The 8th annual self-guided walking food tour of North Park goes down Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

San Diego’s North Park community is home to a delicious dining scene and this weekend, foodies can sample their way through dozens of eateries at a popular event.

The 8th annual Taste of North Park goes down from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at more than 50 participating restaurants including Carnitas’ Snack Shack, West Coast Tavern, Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream, Urban Solace, Underbelly and Waypoint Republic, to name a few.

Attendees will be able to sample bite-sized offerings from the 53 participating eateries, as well as sip on samples of craft beer from different breweries at 15 boutiques in the area. For instance, Gallery AKA will host sudsy samples from North Park Beer Co., while Salvage Salon serves samples from Mike Hess Brewing Co. and Dexter’s Deli pours sips from Amplified Ale Works.

Online tickets are sold out, but attendees can still purchase tickets the day of the event for $45. Those ticket sales start at 10 a.m. Saturday behind Queen Bee’s at 3925 Ohio St. and Blue Foot at 3404 30th St. A ticket gets you food samples from all 53 eateries, and for the 21+ crowd, 15 beer samples.
