A swarm of bees flew through a Nestor parking lot Tuesday afternoon, stinging two people.

The San Diego Fire Department was called to the lot on the corner of Palm Ave. and 16th St. at about 2 p.m., authorities with the department said.

The parking lot is near Lydia's Cafe, just east of Imperial Beach.

Two people were stung, including a medic. One man in his 60's was transported to the hospital as a result of the stings.
