Bomb squad and arson investigators are responding to a call from Swami’s Beach in Encinitas after someone discovered what looked like ammunition Monday.

What appear to be three empty practice rounds were reported around 8:30 a.m. according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.

However deputies are treating them as if they’re live as a precaution officials said.

State parks staffers are keeping people 200 feet away from the location.
