Suspects Steal Taxi Cab

Three suspects carjacked a taxi cab driver in Loma Portal Sunday morning, according to authorities.
Police said three suspects – two black males and a black female, all in their 30s -- hailed a cab at 5th Avenue and F Street in Loma Portal and directed the driver to the 3200 block of Madrid Street in Point Loma.
The group then allegedly physically assaulted the driver and stole his cab. They drove off in the vehicle.
Authorities said the cab’s LoJack security device was activated a short time later and the vehicle became stationary. Police found the cab later at 3rd Avenue and Date Street.
The suspects were nowhere to be found.
