Police have found the driver they suspect of hitting and killing a man as he crossed Balboa Avenue Friday night.

Hamza Eweedah, 20, was arrested by police after a resident who lived in his complex saw a news report about the hit-and-run and noticed a vehicle in the building's parking lot with suspicious damage.

A man in his twenties was struck by the car Eweedah was allegedly driving, when he tried to cross the street just before 7:00 p.m.

The pedestrian was then hit by a second car and became trapped underneath.

He died at the scene. His name has not yet been released.
