A 46-year-old man allegedly stabbed another man with a screwdriver in San Diego’s Fairmont Village neighborhood early Sunday, according to police.

Officials said the strange stabbing occurred in the 3700 block of 46th Street just before 2 a.m.

The suspect was allegedly partying with friends inside a van in an alley behind a residence.

Police said the man who lived at the residence verbally confronted the suspect and that’s when the suspect stabbed him with a screwdriver.

The victim sustained a non-life threatening wound to his shoulder.

The incident is under investigation.
