The Mexport Supplier Forum is part of a state program called the California State Trade and Export Promotion that helps to match local suppliers with major international manufacturers. The forums are partially funded from a grant made by the U.S. Small Business Administration to increase export promotional activity in the state.

Past forums organized here have featured such international manufacturers as Kyocera, DJO Global, Nypro, and Greatbatch Medical.

The March 6 forum will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the San Diego Country Club, 88 L St. in Chula Vista.

The event leads up to Mexport, the annual trade show that promotes regional export sourcing opportunities at the manufacturing plants located in Baja California.

This year’s event is scheduled for May 15 in Otay Mesa.
