Three students were robbed at gunpoint early Friday morning, according to San Diego State University police.

The male non-SDSU students were sleeping in the living room of an apartment on the 5700-block of Montezuma Road when one of them woke up to see a man pointing a handgun at him. The suspect told the victim to be quiet while a second suspect proceeded to take computer bags, laptop computers, cell phones, wallets and other personal items.

Both suspects left the property in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 619-235-847.
