Stockton School on Lockdown after Possible Shooting

San Diego police placed King-Chavez Academy on lockdown Wednesday as they searched the area around the school for possible shooting suspects.

Gunshots were reported around 3 p.m. near 31st Street and Island Avenue in Stockton. Classes were done for the day, but some students were still there for an after-school program.

About 45 minutes later, police lifted the lockdown and detained two people.

No one was injured, according to police.

There is no word if police found evidence that an actual shooting took place.
