Woman Badly Injured in Spring Valley

The victim was found so seriously injured from a domestic violence incident that paramedics were giving her CPR

When a Spring Valley woman was discovered badly injured by authorities late Tuesday, she was being tended to by the same man who police have since booked in jail on one count of attempted murder and one count of spousal abuse.

Deputies have cordoned off a few blocks hear a home in the 9500-block of Piedmont Street Wednesday.

Hours earlier, before 4 p.m. Tuesday, deputies say they discovered the victim so seriously injured from a domestic violence incident that paramedics were giving her CPR.

The unidentified woman was rushed to Mercy Hospital however officials said she is not expected to survive her injuries.

Roshawn Lamar Broadnax has been booked on one count of attempted murder and one count of spousal abuse.

Investigators have not released information on the relationship between the suspect and the victim.
