The Café Venti coffee shop located at 4681 Convoy Street was robbed Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2:15 a.m.
Images released by San Diego County Crime Stoppers show the unidentified man who kicked in the glass front door and fired several shots in the direction of the owner before stealing money from the shop's register.
The owner was inside the business counting the day's receipts and managed to get out of the business through a rear door without injury.
The suspect is described as an Asian male 25-30 years old, 5’07”-5’10” tall, weighing between 170-200 lbs wearing a pair of dark framed prescription glasses, a black Chicago White Sox baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, white knee length shorts with a plaid pattern, and black tennis shoes.
