A man yelled “Scarface” while stabbing a woman in her City Heights home Monday according to San Diego police.

The 33-year old woman opened her door after she heard a knock around 10 p.m. A man attacked her with a sharp object, slashing her on the face as he yelled “Scarface” and then took off.

Officers say the injuries to the woman’s face are superficial.

The attack happened in the 3500 block of Fairmount Avenue near Myrtle Avenue. The suspect, described wearing dark clothes and a black hoodie, ran southbound on Fairmount.
