Skyline House Catches Fire

A house in Skyline caught fire Monday, showing smoke and flames as firefighters arrived to the scene.

Firefighters responded to the home on Guthrie Way and Cahill Drive at about 5:40 p.m. Monday, according to the Heartland Fire Department.

Smoke could be seen from a distance from the one-story single-family home in the residential neighborhood.

By about 6 p.m. the fire was knocked down. Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the rear of the house.
