3 Injured in Paradise Hills Shooting

2 victims are in critical condition, while a third sustained a non-life threatening wound

San Diego Police are searching for two suspects who opened fire on a group of people in Paradise Hills Wednesday night.

Police said the shooting happened around 7:50 p.m. in the 2700 block of Reo Drive.

Officials said four Hispanic males were sitting on a wall drinking beer when two unknown Hispanic male suspects between the ages of 17 and 20 years old approached them.

The men exchanged words and then one of the two suspects took out a gun and fired several rounds at the men sitting on the wall, police said.

Three of the four men were shot. Medics were requested and the victims were transported to local hospitals.

Officials said one victim was shot in the back and abdomen, while another was struck in the abdomen. Both of those victims remain in critical condition. The third victim was shot in the arm and is expected to survive.

Authorities said the shooting suspect was last seen driving a 1990s model Honda Accord on Reo Drive.

Officials believe the shooting could be gang-related, but it is still under investigation.
