A local sheriff’s deputy was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence late Tuesday night after she was spotted driving erratically in a McDonald’s parking lot, San Diego Police confirmed.

Deputy Diedre Quenell, 42, was arrested just before midnight after she allegedly hit a curb in a McDonald’s parking lot in Carmel Mountain.

One  police pulled her over, Quenell was combative with them and identified herself as a sheriff’s deputy, police said.

She was arrested for suspicion of DUI and resisting arrest.

On Wednesday the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department told NBC 7 San Diego that Quenell is employed by the department, however they would not comment on her case at this time.
