Sharp Dressed Man Robs Rolando Bank

A man wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase robbed a bank in Rolando Wednesday, according to San Diego police.

The robbery happened just after 11 a.m. at the U.S. Bank inside Vons in the 6100 block of El Cajon Boulevard.

Police said the man handed the teller a demand note and fled with the cash.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his thirties with long, curly, red hair pulled back in a ponytail. He was wearing a gray suit with a green tie, a tan hat and white gloves.

Officials have not released a surveillance photo.

Anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts can call San Diego police or Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.
