Escondido police have issued a “Sex Offender Community Notification” to the residents in the immediate area of Washington Avenue and Broadway within the City of Escondido.
Registered sex offender Mark William Pliska, 68, is living in Escondido as a transient and frequently sleeps on private property in the area of 600 North Broadway in Escondido, according to officials.
Pliska has been convicted for lewd acts with a child less than 14 years old and indecent exposure.
Police wish to notify the public that Pliska is not currently wanted, but wants to warn the community about his whereabouts.
