SeaPort Air is now offering roundtrip flights from San Diego to Burbank out of Lindbergh Field.

The 65-minute non-stop flights are being offered four times each weekday, once on Saturday and twice on Sundays according to the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority.

The inaugural flight between San Diego International Airport and Burbank Bob Hope Airport happened Wednesday.

The new San Diego-Burbank route complements existing service between San Diego-El Centro/Imperial, CA offered by SeaPort.

Another route from San Diego to San Felipe in Baja California, Mexico is pending approval and may begin before the end of the year.
