San Diego has just landed on a favorable travel list.
America’s Finest City made Yahoo Travel’s round-up of “10 Great Spring Break Destinations” in the U.S., mainly for the wide array of family-friendly activities it has to offer.
The list cited the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld, Legoland and sandy beaches in San Diego as major draws for Spring break vacationers traveling with kids. The “mild climate” also makes it an attractive destination.
Other top-notch Spring break destinations that made the cut include Scottsdale, Ariz., which came in at No. 1; Washington, D.C.; Yosemite National Park; Lanai Island, Hawaii; Charleston, S.C.; Amelia Island, Fla.; Telluride, Colo.; Natchez Trace Parkway and Newark, N.J.
San Diego ranked in 9th place among the chosen destinations.
