On Wednesday night, interim San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria will give the State of the City address. NBC 7’s Omari Fleming has a preview of what he’s expected to say.

Gloria, who took office following the resignation of former mayor Bob Filner, enthusiastically shared his vision for San Diego's future.

Some of Gloria's key proposals included tackling the city's backlog of infrastructure projects with an "aggressive" bond issue, expanding programs to reduce homelessness and improving bicycle transit.

Filner is serving 90 days under house arrest as punishment for three criminal charges - felony false imprisonment and two misdemeanor charges of battery involving victims of sexual harassment.

San Diego City Councilmembers Kevin Faulconer and David Alvarez are vying to permanently fill the spot left by Filner. They will face each other in the election scheduled for Feb.11.
