San Diego Soldier Killed Overseas

A San Diego man was among two soldiers killed in an accident in Kuwait, according to the Department of Defense.

Army Specialist Trinidad Santiago, Jr., 25, died May 2 at Camp Buehring. Santiago was killed in a vehicle accident, according to DoD officials. No other details were provided.

He was assigned to the Fourth Battalion, 42nd Field Artillery Regiment, First Brigade Combat Team, Fourth Infantry Division out of Fort Carson, Colo.

Private First Class Charles P. McClure, 21, of Stratford, Okla. was also killed.
