Winter is definitely here! The San Diego County mountains will be sprinkled with snow starting on Wednesday.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow for Pine Valley, Julian and Mount Laguna. The bulk of the snow showers will hit local regions by Saturday. The snow levels are expected to drop down to 3800 feet.

Ski resorts in the San Bernadino Mountains are expecting three to five inches of snow on Saturday, with continued chances of snow through the weekend, the weather service said. So if you are looking to hit the slopes, you will have fresh powder for the weekend.
