Sailors Robbed on Pacific Beach Street

Two members of the U.S. Navy were walking home together when they were mugged officials said

San Diego police need the public’s help to catch a suspect who robbed two sailors at gunpoint in Pacific Beach.

Two members of the U.S. Navy were walking home together around 1:30 a.m. Friday when they were mugged at Bond and Hornblend officials said.

The suspect stole with the men's wallets and cellphones and may have left the scene in a beige car.

The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall, 170 pounds and was described by police as wearing a black hoodie.
