A woman told police she was sexually assaulted after attending a party near the San Diego State University campus early Sunday.
The party was located near the intersection of 63rd Street and Montezuma Road.
The woman said she was talking to three men between midnight and 1 a.m. when they asked her to go outside campus police said.
The three men then forced the woman into the back of a car and drove to an unspecified location where two of the men sexually assaulted the woman police said.
After the attack, the victim was returned to the location of the party.
SDSU police issued an alert about the crime and San Diego police have joined in on the investigation.
