SDPD Raids Illegal Marijuana Dispensary, 2 Associated Businesses

SDPD's Narcotics Unit is working with the City Attorney's office to investigate all illegal marijuana dispensaries operating within city limits.

Investigators with the San Diego Police Department's Narcotics Unit raided an illegal marijuana dispensary and two associated businesses in Otay Mesa, authorities confirmed. 

Officials served the search warrant at a building at 688 Hollister Street at approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday.

At the address, they discovered an illegal marijuana dispensary. Investigators served search warrants at two additional associated businesses nearby. 

Inside, they seized approximately 100 pounds of marijuana, multiple types of edibles and an undisclosed amount of concentrated cannabis. 

The officers also found two handguns and an AR-15 style rifle, cash and business records, which they seized. 

SDPD's Narcotics Unit is working with the City Attorney's office to investigate all illegal marijuana dispensaries operating within city limits, police said. 

In connection with this raid, two people have been detained; no arrests have been made. 

The investigation is ongoing.
