U.S. Crew Safe in Libya After Jet Crash

In the third night of U.N.-led air attacks against Libyan strongman Moammar Khaddafy's defenses, a U.S. warplane crashed into a Libyan field after a mechanical failure. Both crewmembers are safe, according to officials.
