A teenager was struck in the head with a baseball bat Sunday at the Linda Vista Recreation Center, police confirmed.
San Diego Police (SDPD) and firefighters (SDFD) responded to the center at 6893 Osler Street at around 3:38 p.m.
Police say the victim, a 17-year-old boy fell into a vacant pool after he was hit. The extent of the victim’s injuries and the suspect’s motive are both unknown.
