Rollover Accident on I-8 in El Cajon

CHP blocked off the third and fourth lanes of eastbound Interstate-8 at Magnolia Avenue in El Cajon Wednesday evening after a rollover accident.

According to CHP, the single-vehicle collision happened around 5:30 p.m.

An SUV rolled over and landed on the right shoulder of eastbound I-8 at Magnolia Avenue.

Passengers inside the car were able to get out, CHP said.

Medics were requested for at least one patient at the scene. Specifics of that victim's injuries are still unknown.
