While we are able to provide the sandbags, the fire stations will not have sand available. People with access to the beach areas will be allowed to use beach sand.

In Escondido, residents may obtain free sand and bags that have been stockpiled by the amphitheater at Kit Carson Park. The park is located at 3333 Bear Valley Parkway and is open from sunrise to sunset. Residents will need to bring their own shovels and be prepared to fill the sand bag themselves.
