No RV Parking Along Carlsbad's Coast

Don't even think about parking your recreational vehicle along the coast in Carlsbad this summer.

The city council voted Tuesday to restrict parking along Carlsbad Boulevard according to the North County Times.

"We're not depriving them of the opportunity to park in Carlsbad ... we just want to leave a little bit (of beachfront) for people who don't get there at 5 a.m. and sleep in their motor homes," Councilman Keith Blackburn told the paper.

The area along Carlsbad Boulevard from Redwood Avenue to Cherry Avenue will be restricted from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
