Power Out as San Ysidro Residents Vote

A power outage in San Ysidro left over 1200 customers without electricity in the last few hours of voting.

The power cut off at about 5:45 p.m. for customers in Nester, San Ysidro in Otay Mesa, according to an SDG&E outage map.

Power is expected to be restored by 8:15 p.m.

The specific cause is under investigation. Repairs are being made.
