Pot Smuggled in Minivan
On Friday morning, two women were arrested for attempting to smuggle 166 pounds of marijuana through a Border Patrol checkpoint on westbound Interstate 8 in Pine Valley.

Pot Smuggled in Minivan
Images from the U.S. Border Patrol show the pot they say was uncovered in a minivan carrying two children. On Friday morning, two women were arrested for attempting to smuggle 166 pounds of marijuana through a Border Patrol checkpoint on westbound Interstate 8 in Pine Valley. Border Patrol agents encountered the women at about 9:15 a.m. as they arrived at the checkpoint in a Dodge Caravan. The estimated street value of the marijuana was $100,110.
