A delivery driver for a marijuana dispensary on Market Street was robbed at gunpoint Friday night, according to San Diego police.
The driver got no answer at the door of the dispensary in the 2200 block of Market, and was then approached by a dark-skinned man carrying a semi-automatic handgun.
The suspect demanded the victim’s bag of marijuana and fled on foot.
He was last seen heading northbound on 22nd Street.
Detectives from the police robbery unit responded and are handling the investigation.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned man in his late teens to early 20s wearing a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, white shorts and tall white socks.
