A woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Monday afternoon, according to officials.
The driver is allegedly responsible for a car accident involving three vehicles on southbound Interstate 15 around 3 p.m. The collision caused California Highway Patrol to issue a SigAlert and traffic to back up.
A female driver was breathalyzed, then handcuffed at the scene.
Traffic began clearing shortly after 4 p.m., but was still stop-and-go for the beginning of rush hour. There is no word on any injuries as a result of the collision.
