A plane hit another plane at Palomar Airport in Carlsbad Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

A pilot was practicing "Touch and Go" landings when he underestimated his distance to the ground and veered down at a 45 degree angle, according to North County Dispatch JPA.

The landing happened at about 3:40 p.m. Sunday.

Luckily, the pilot was not hurt. However, he hit another plane on the tarmac.

Authorities on the scene compared the minor crash to a fender bender in a car.

No one was injured.
