A person died Wednesday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle, according to police.
At around 3:15 p.m. on 61st Street and Imperial Avenue the victim was hit then trapped beneath the car. Police pronounced the person dead at the scene.
Police advise that eastbound Imperial Avenue will be closed while they investigate.
