A man and woman were taken into custody when a panga landed on Blacks Beach north of La Jolla.
No money or drugs was found in the boat when it was discovered just after 6 a.m. Monday according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents.
Agents apprehended the man and woman on land after they crawled up a steep, muddy embankment. It’s not known if there were other people on the boat.
Officials photographed and took the suspects into custody. The boat will be seized by federal agents.
