Padres-Cubs Game Postponed

Team will return home following Wednesday doubleheader

The game between the San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs scheduled for Tuesday night was postponed because of inclement weather.

The Chicago forecast called for heavy rain and wind chills in the 20s.

The game will be made up as part of a day-night doubleheader on Wednesday.

Aaron Harang will face Matt Garza in the first game, set to start at 1:20 p.m. Dustin Moseley will then take the mound opposite James Russell at 6:05 p.m.

The Padres return home Thursday to open a seven-game homestand against the Philadelphia Phillies and Atlanta Braves.
