A person in Golden Hill was tazed on Thursday evening by police after resisting arrest.
According to police, an officer was attempting to take the subject into custody on the 2800 block of B St. just before 5 p.m., but the subject resisted. It is unclear at this point why the person was being taken into custody in the first place.
The officer deployed his taser and was eventually able to take the subject into custody. Medics were requested to treat the tazed subject.
Police said the officer was not injured but they will investigate a possible battery on the officer.
