The suspected gunman in Monday’s mass shooting at Oikos University in Oakland, Calif., has personal ties to San Diego.

Upon searching records on 43-year-old shooting suspect One Goh -- who opened fire at the small Christian university Monday morning, leaving seven people dead – NBCSanDiego has confirmed that his parents once lived in Chula Vista.

According to records, Goh’s parents lived in two different apartments in Chula Vista between 1998 and 2000, though exact details on the street locations of those homes remain unknown.

As it turns out, Goh’s family has moved all over the country over the past 25 years, and it’s unclear exactly why they wound up moving to Chula Vista.

It’s also unknown if Goh lived with his parents in Chula Vista during that time.
