Northbound Interstate 805 has been reopened after being closed for nearly six hours on Friday, according to officials.
The interstate was closed at 8:30 a.m. at the state Route 54 connector between Chula Vista and National City. A SigAlert warned drivers to avoid the area.

Traffic was diverted to SR-54 while the Plaza and Sweetwater onramps were closed.
