UCSD forced to close four campus libraries

Money problems may force UCSD to close four libraries.

According to the University's student newspaper, The Guardian, the school's library committee outlined a plan that would close a computer library, the medical center library, the science and engineering library and the Scripps library as part of a $3 million budget cut.

During  the past three years, the library budget has lost $5 million.
